ACAOSA UK Appoints New Executives

The recent Acaosa uk election that took place in London produced an excellent team to lead the Association for the next two years. In the swearing-in ceremony, the new President, Charles Obazuaye, promised to take the Association forward. He praised the last executives for a Job well-done. The swearing-in address and list of other executive members is available here.

BBQ Fun-day for ACAOSA UK Members

Members of ACAOSA Uk and their family were treated to a day of finger licking BBQ, fun-day with different games for both young and their parents. Daddies and mummies engaged in sack race, egg and spoon race, tug-of-war, table tennis, five-a-side football etc. There were board games for those that preferred less strenuous exercise.

The young generation enjoyed fun games, Bouncy Castle, Assault Course and several trips to the Candy van serving ice cream, Popcorn etc. The weather failed to prevent the crowd from enjoying a perfect BBQ day on open field with music and entertainment for all ages.

The entire event was funded by levy and voluntary donations from members. The new executive is planning a bigger event to bring members from other part of the world to come and enjoy another marvelous event in London after the 2006 Worldwide Jamboree. Members are also calling for more fun-days to bring families together and strenghten the bond between members. More photos are available here.
